Well, IMHO, preserving a game is not about making a l33t ASCII art and renaming a plain .txt file to .nfo ;)
Today it's time for a rather unusual item:
Here's Guilty Gear X Limited Edition Bonus Mini CD JAP version for Sega Dreamcast, lovingly preserved for the maniac collectors out there!
The dump is in MDF/MDS format and has been verified to be usable in Alcohol.
Guaranteed to contain 0 read errors!
Use it on your PC. Disc contains two sessions: first session is one CD/DA track and the second is a data track containing 2 800x600 bitmaps with game artwork and an html file in Japanese.
Mostly useless, I agree, but some ppl are weird anyway and want to have everything! ;)
For your viewing and/or printing pleasure, I have included high-resolution 300 DPI scans of the
game's CD and warning label.
It comes into a small plastic sleeve, so no covers are available for it.
To get this unusual item into perspective, I decided to scan both the art side and the data side of the mini CD.
Note: this is not a regular round-shaped CD, check the pics to get the idea...
It also contains a small piece of paper with a warning in Japanese. I don't know what this says, but you've been warned anyway ;)
In case you think the scans are crap, I will just say that this is the quality of the original items.
Enjoy a (hopefully...) quality (or hyper lame, depends which way you see it...) retro release!
This one has recently been auctioned of Ebay (for a very fair price) by myself and dumped for your pleasure! Enjoy :)
