• The Dream Resurrection project (a.k.a. DCRES) was born in 2008 leaded by TuxTheWise with the goal of making high quality MIL-CD releases for the remaining Dreamcast community.
• During the past 4 years, over 150 releases were made and distributed in SnesOrama Emulation Community, Segahub and Dreamcast-Talk.
• Even still being a single man project, a lot of custom techniques were developed to maximize the quality of the games.
• Reading performance is improved by dummying games, re-linking redundant files, adjusting disc format and adjusting file order based or not on the original GD. Note that each game is adjusted and tested individually for the best performance. The result is faster loading times and less GD reader movement.
• Downsampling process, when needed, is made using high quality decoders and encoders. Note that ADX loop information is preserved.
• The files used in the releases are taken from TOSEC GDIs and sometimes from the original rarsets of trustworthy groups, like Kalisto and Echelon.
• This pack has the complete collection of DCRES released games, custom and 3rd party tools, documentation and some extras.
• The motivation for the creation of this pack was snesorama being offline, making DCRES blog and a lot of links not accessible anymore.
• This torrent replaces the old packs. Torrents were deleted because of that.
• Unlike the older packs, not all releases were reviewed, so you might find some releases failing on current DCRES quality standards. Please refer to the included releases list for a reviewed release list. Also, please notice that lack of review on a release doesn't imply it's a bad release.
• Reviewed releases are known for working correctly until the end, having performance increased, working on all region consoles, having support for 60hz on PAL consoles (either native or through an included patch) and having VGA-Box support when possible. SCART cables are unsupported.
• Except for the password protected files that have been repacked for this torrent, the files in the pack are the original files distributed in the forums mentioned above and of the older packs. If you already have some of them, you can replace them in your download folder, tell your torrent client to re-check files and help seeding right away.

• All releases are for conventional 80min CD-Rs.
• The images are in CDI format created with DiscJuggler 4.1, you can find the demo copy on the pack. Also you can probably burn the images with the latest DiscJuggler or Alcohol 120%, although not supported.
• DCRES releases were made intended to be played in a real console, therefore playing them on emulators is unsupported and won't bring you any improvement. If you want to play the games on an emulator, use TOSEC GDI instead.
• You can use WinRAR to unpack multi-part RAR files and 7-Zip to unpack multi-part 7Z files.
• Info files may have important information, please check them before burning.
• The following deprecated releases had their files lost, and therefore are not in the pack: Resident Evil 2 v1 and Genesis Collection v1. If you have these files, please PM me.
• Part of 3rd party tools included lack original documentation, since I copied the binaries from my development folders.
• A lot of very useful information was in my snesorama blog and was lost when it got offline. I included what I could recover on this pack. If you saved any of the pages or have ideas of how to recover them, please PM me.
• Some readme files have line breaks missing.
• cdrhack.rar is password protected. Password is "tux". I'm going to fix that on a future release.
